Watermelon Cake: So easy and so good!

I have a new obsession… it’s watermelon cake!  Imagine a cake so healthy you could eat it every day!  (Well, except for the whipped cream.)  This cake is really fun, super yummy, and delightfully easy to make!  So what do you need to make a watermelon cake?  Just a few simple ingredients…

Ingredients:

Watermelon
Whipped Cream
Berries
Sliced Almonds

Watermelon Cake

Directions:

1)      Cut the round ends off of the watermelon & carve out the center as shown.
2)      Generously frost the melon with whipped cream.
3)      Add almond slices to the sides.
4)      Embellish with berries on top.

*Note:  Make sure your whipped cream and watermelon are both really cold before you start.  This helps them stick together.  I actually put both in the freezer for a little while before I began to make sure they would be REALLY cold.
